29th Seoul Fringe Festival, Song Jong-bin's First Solo Concert: The Hour Between

[PERFORMANCE INTRODUCTION] the Hour Between is a solo performance project by bassist Song Jong-bin. Going beyond the conventionally defined role of the bass, this is a performance that weaves together improvisation and diverse musical experiments to create a unique atmosphere. Focusing on the resonance and breathing of each moment, it explores the multilayered sounds that a single instrument can produce, and investigates the future and possibilities of the bass guitar. This performance centers on improvisation with the theme of 'Between.' It aims to discuss the intersectionality and chemistry between heterogeneous concepts such as art and popular music, spontaneity and density, familiarity and unfamiliarity, and day and night. Rather than conveying predetermined narratives or answers, the goal is to leave room for each audience member to project their own memories and emotions.
