[PERFORMANCE INTRODUCTION]
As warmth seeps into the earth that has been huddled through winter, spring has arrived at our side.
This concert, ****, has been prepared to convey the excitement of the season through beautiful vocal melodies.
In Part 1, we celebrate the spring of our homeland and the fragrance of flowers through Korean art songs where poetry and melody harmoniously blend. In Part 2 that follows, through opera arias and duets by masters such as Mozart and Verdi, we unfold the deep passion and narrative of love inherent in classical music.
We hope that as the voices of singers ring out like blossoming petals, your hearts too will be filled with the radiant warmth of spring.
