About

[PERFORMANCE INTRODUCTION] The sixth solo recital of cellist Hwang Jinha, who draws melodies as if singing, will take place. The subtitle of this recital, 〈Becoming〉, captures cellist Hwang Jinha's musical journey as she develops into a true soloist through endless exploration and deepening artistry. In particular, through a "Celebration of the B's"—featuring representative works by three masters who drew important trajectories in classical music history: Boccherini, Beethoven, and Brahms—the recital showcases the diverse colors of the cello and the essence of authentic chamber music. The delicate musical dialogue with pianist Kim Min-kyung is expected to maximize the cello's inherent deep resonance even further. This recital is not simply a concert that lists works from different eras. As a single journey where the historical flow of the cello's musical narrative intersects with cellist Hwang Jinha's artistic story, it will offer audiences profound resonance and deep musical connection.
