[Performance Introduction]
Since its founding in 2018, Lintrio is an ensemble that presents contemporary classical music and explores the social messages that "music of our time" can convey through performances. This concert marks the final stage of a three-year mid-to-long-term project that began in 2024, and has been planned to contemplate issues facing contemporary Korean society alongside music. Following environmental concerns and intergenerational conflict, this year addresses the theme of demographic structural changes such as low birth rates and an aging population. Lintrio's 8th Regular Concert "Harmonizing Humanity Series III – Harmonizing Future: The Harmony of Tomorrow," supported by the Korean Arts and Culture Council, will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 7:30 PM in the Chamber Hall of the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts. The concert will be presented in a Lecture-Performance format where lectures, performances, and discussions are organically connected, in collaboration with Jung Ik-joong, a member of the Commission on Low Birth Rate and Aging Society and professor at Ewha Womans University. Through music and discourse, this performance seeks to explore the possibility of coexistence we should pursue in a changing society.
