[ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE]
Jeremy Olander, who opened UNDERCITY's Soft Opening, returns to Seongsu after a year. This time, instead of a single set, he takes the stage with an Open to Close – All Night Long Set (6 hours) that weaves the entire flow of the night from start to finish into one continuous narrative.
Since his debut through Eric Prydz's Pryda Friends, Jeremy Olander has established himself as the most trusted producer in the melodic house and techno scene, working across world-renowned labels including Drumcode, Anjunadeep, and Diynamic. His signature lies in meticulous sound design and set compositions that simultaneously balance emotion and structure. Through his own label Vivrant, founded in 2014, he has also solidified his identity as both an artist and curator.
This performance is not merely a concert visit to Korea, but a Vivrant Showcase and a symbolic night marking the era of his debut album, When The Rain Falls. Released on March 13th, this album is his most personal and introspective work, capturing years of artistic evolution and life changes.
When The Rain Falls aims to transcend functional club tracks, positioning electronic music as "music to be heard." Completed based on his own experiences and emotions, the album demonstrates Jeremy Olander's newly defined sonic direction.
Beginning with the first single 'Apollo,' the album's universe unfolds around cinematic soundscapes and clear emotional lines, revealing his expanded musical spectrum through diverse collaborations. It marks a turning point—an evolution beyond conventional progressive house into a more mature and narrative-driven sound.
The Open to Close Set at UNDERCITY becomes the moment where his career, the album's narrative, and Vivrant's philosophy converge. This night will remain a special and unforgettable experience for fans who have grown alongside his music.
