Chekhov [Songpa, Seoul]

[SYNOPSIS] Anton Chekhov was born in 1864 during the turbulent period of the Russian Revolution, as the son of a poor tenant farmer in the countryside. Despite entering Moscow Medical University to meet his parents' expectations, he cannot abandon his dream of becoming a playwright. He receives a commission from Moscow's chief director Stanislavski to write a play for the year-end performance, and goes on to write his masterpiece, "The Seagull."
