Chuncheon Theater Festival, Harriet Embracing the Sea: The Road to Galapagos

[Performance Introduction] A magnificent life lived for 175 years, a miraculous journey toward her homeland of the Galápagos! In an Australian zoo where animals wounded by humans gather to live, there is Harriet, a tortoise who sailed across on Charles Darwin's Beagle and has lived embracing the sea for 175 years. With deep wisdom and a warm heart, Harriet creates a house of peace, comforting the wounds of animals including baby monkey Charlie. As Harriet's final moments approach, a great escape by her animal friends begins to show her lifelong wish—the sea of her homeland! A touching story brought to life through grand music and a vibrant stage! This winter, a well-made family musical arrives to awaken true forgiveness, solidarity, and the dignity of life in the hearts of families everywhere. We invite you to join Harriet and her friends on their brilliant journey of salvation.
