About

[PERFORMANCE INTRODUCTION] 2026 Gongganggyeol Young Artist Series - Fourth Chapter We present the fourth installment of , Gongganggyeol's signature planned performance that discovers and supports young artists who possess the 'tremor of a beginning' rather than perfection, and their 'own unique voice' rather than credentials. On this stage, pianist Kim Geun-young will showcase the diverse spectrum of the piano—from the passion contained within the solid structure of classical music to the dramatic fantasy of Romantic compositions. Opening with a sophisticated and vibrant door through Beethoven's early masterpiece , the performance will paint deep and undulating lyricism through Chopin's . In the following second half, through Schumann's , the performance will magnificently unfold the inner worlds and fantasies of countless human figures across the piano keys. In particular, this concert, held on August 15th, Liberation Day, is also a meaningful occasion to share the positive influence that music possesses. With pianist Kim Geun-young's warm sincerity, a portion of the ticket proceeds from this performance will be donated to underprivileged neighbors and meaningful causes in society. In the heart of summer, we invite you to experience the profound waves conveyed by pianist Kim Geun-young at Gongganggyeol, where the pure passion of a young artist and the moving power of generous sharing coexist.
