Cellist Hong Jin-ho is a performer and creator who has expanded the boundaries between genres and art forms based on classical music. He studied at Seoul National University's College of Music and the State University of Music Würzburg in Germany, and has been active on the international stage, traveling between Europe and Korea. Following his victory on JTBC's in 2019, he has broadened his artistic scope beyond classical music to include jazz, band music, and original compositions, as well as humanities content such as , establishing his own musical world. In particular, his original composition albums and have conveyed deep resonance by expressing the landscapes of memory and emotion, movement and stillness through delicate melodies.
In this special program , his performance quietly resonates with the trajectory of life and art that artist Lee Kyung-mi has accumulated over a long time, as well as the journey of returning to oneself. The cello melodies flowing between painting, installation, and media work further expand the layers of memory and sensation captured in the exhibition, offering audiences another distinct 'landscape of return.'
