[PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION] Presenting the Korean premiere of Ieum Opera Company and Forest Opera Ensemble's Korean adaptation fairy tale opera series [CINDERELLA] The magical fairy tale of Cinderella, which frequently appears in ballet, musicals, and films— The opera [Cendrillon] by French female composer Pauline Viardot, which combines French humor with Italian bel canto style and radiates unique charm, is reborn through a new Korean adaptation. Cinderella lives with her stepfather and two stepsisters, bearing the brunt of household chores while enduring their constant mistreatment. Yet her kind heart allows her to persevere quietly. One day, the prince holds a ball to find a bride and invites all the young women. Her stepfather and two stepsisters dress themselves in finery and attend, but Cinderella cannot go due to the housework her sisters assign to her. As she despairs in sadness, a fairy godmother appears and performs magic to allow her to attend the ball, providing her with a carriage and gown. However, she warns that at midnight she must return, as everything will revert to its original form. But before disappearing, the fairy godmother leaves one final gift—glass slippers that will remain forever. Meanwhile, before the ball begins, the prince plans with his friend, Count Barigul, to exchange clothes and roles so he can find his true love. Today, Barigul, transformed into a prince, enjoys the ball more enthusiastically than anyone. When Cinderella suddenly appears in the midst of the festivities, neither her stepsisters nor anyone else recognizes her—but the prince knows her instantly. He confesses his hidden feelings to the kind Cinderella, who had shown him mercy even when he was disguised as a beggar, and she shyly begins to accept his heart. But midnight arrives as promised, and she rushes home, losing one glass slipper in the process. Seeing the shoe she left behind, the prince announces he will find the lady whose foot fits it and make her his wife, and begins searching from house to house... Will Cinderella find her lost slipper and achieve love with the prince?
