Jang Hanna's Daejeon Grand Festival, Closing Concert: Joy of Music

[PERFORMANCE INTRODUCTION] The third curtain rises on "Jang Hanna's Daejeon Grand Festival," a celebration of young musicians possessed of outstanding talent and passionate fervor. This year, under the theme "Joy of Music," audiences will encounter music as a companion to life, embracing the full spectrum of human emotions. Artistic Director Jang Hanna, who has led this festival for three years, presents a program that distills her accumulated artistic achievements and musical philosophy as this season marks her final year. Following "Be Yourself!" two years ago and "Immortal Beloved" last year, the Daejeon Grand Festival finally faces the joy that music brings, marking the grand finale of its magnificent journey. The most spectacular lineup to date, anchored by the most prominent young masters in the classical world and comprised of excellent local performers, promises a high-caliber stage worthy of anticipation. The closing concert features Tine Thing Helseth, a living legend of classical trumpet and superstar of the wind ensemble world, in collaboration with cellist Ettore Pagano, winner of the Queen Elisabeth Competition (2026). Following last year's model, an emerging pianist selected through audition will also participate.
