This year, under the theme of "Joy of Music," audiences will encounter music as a companion to life, embracing the full spectrum of human emotions. Artistic Director Jang Hanna, who has led this festival for three years, presents a program in her final season that distills the artistic achievements and musical philosophy she has cultivated. After exploring "Be Yourself!" two years ago and depicting "Immortal Beloved" last year, the Daejeon Grand Festival finally faces the joy that music brings and marks the grand finale of its remarkable journey. Expect the most spectacular lineup to date, anchored by the most acclaimed young masters in the classical music world alongside outstanding regional performers, and anticipate the high-caliber performances they will deliver. The opening concert, the first stage of the festival, unfolds a feast of concertos.
