[PERFORMANCE INTRODUCTION] The third curtain rises on 'Han-na Jang's Daejeon Grand Festival,' a celebration of young musicians with exceptional talent and passionate dedication. This year, under the theme 'Joy of Music,' audiences will experience music as a companion to life, embracing the full spectrum of human emotions—joy, sorrow, love, and pain. Artistic Director Han-na Jang, who has led this festival for three years, presents a program that distills her artistic achievements and musical philosophy as this season marks the conclusion of her tenure. Having explored 'Finding Yourself!' two years ago and depicted 'Immortal Beloved' last year, the Daejeon Grand Festival finally confronts the joy that music brings, completing its grand journey with a grand finale. The most glamorous lineup in the festival's history awaits, featuring the most prominent young maestros in the classical world alongside outstanding regional performers, all ready to deliver a world-class performance. Norway's world-renowned trumpeter Tine Ting Helset makes his Korea appearance. Praised for his "lyrical, transparent tone that stirs the soul," he will present a diverse repertoire ranging from Renaissance madrigals to accessible jazz works by Gershwin and Kurt Weill. The program will also feature varied instrumentation—from solo to duet to brass sextet—showcasing the full expressive range of brass instruments.
