Lecture Concert IV. The Birth of American Music [Gongju]

[Performance Introduction] The Birth of American Music This performance explores the formation and history of American music through jazz. It introduces the journey from the energy of the early swing and big band era to how Broadway and Hollywood music became established as jazz standards. Subsequently, through the stories of artists from the 1950s and 60s who captured the personal and lyrical charm of vocal jazz, the appeal of "singing jazz" is conveyed.
