The first stage of this chamber music series, 'Moon Light,' is a special evening where you can experience the tension of classicism and the deep lyricism of romanticism together through masterpieces of chamber music left by Beethoven and Schumann. The mysterious moonlight painted by Beethoven, and the warm romanticism sung by Schumann!! On a midsummer night, we invite you to experience the most beautiful moments of chamber music created by four musicians. [PROGRAM] Part 1 - Beethoven Piano Trio No.5 in D Major Op.70 No.1 'Ghost' This work, known by the nickname 'Ghost,' is regarded as one of Beethoven's most mysterious and dramatic compositions. In particular, the dark and tension-filled melody of the second movement is evaluated as a work that heralded the beginning of 19th-century romantic music. Part 2 - Schumann Piano Quartet Op.47 Regarded by many musicologists as the pinnacle of Schumann's chamber music, this masterpiece showcases the perfect dialogue between piano and strings in complete balance, displaying Schumann's distinctive romanticism and lyricism in its most beautiful form.
