[PERFORMANCE INTRODUCTION] A joyful and pride-filled queer ensemble of those who could not become 'ordinary' For Pride Month in June, we present the radio musical featuring the queer/ally orchestra 'Rainbow Band.' Like dressing—not the main ingredient but essential to a salad, constantly stirred and blended together— heartwarming and delightful stories of living queerly, full of flavor and joy, are reborn through the performance of Rainbow Band. Casting off the suffocating garments that don't fit, embracing the wounds left by society's gaze, in a safe community connected through music, we imagine a moment of celebration created by harmonies filled with love.
