Nam Yu-seon The Moments of Life Release Commemoration Concert

[PERFORMANCE INTRODUCTION] Launch Concert for Jazz Saxophonist Nam Yoo-sun's 4th Full-Length Album, The Moments of Life Jazz saxophonist Nam Yoo-sun, whose 2nd and 3rd albums were both nominated for the Korean Music Awards' Best Jazz Album category, has released his fourth full-length album after five years. This album is a work that unfolds various moments of life through eight thematic pieces. Nam Yoo-sun composed and performed all tracks, layering the rich melodies of a string quartet over the sound of a jazz quartet. The album gracefully and vibrantly depicts in contemporary jazz language the process of countless fleeting moments coming together to complete one grand picture of life. Complementing this are the refined yet dynamic performances by pianist Lim Chae-sun, bassist Ryu Hyung-gon, and drummer Kim Sun-bin, who are actively performing in the Korean jazz scene, elevating the musical completeness of each piece with a solid band ensemble. At this launch concert, all eight tracks from the album will be presented live. The dynamic sound of a contemporary jazz quartet combined with the rich and elegant melodies of a string quartet will create a stage that conveys a deeper musical narrative and lingering resonance.
