Soprano Kim Eun-kyung Solo Concert: La voix naturelle Natural Voice

[Synopsis] Soprano Eun-Kyoung Kim, who gave a meaningful solo recital in Paris to commemorate the 140th anniversary of Korea-France diplomatic relations, returns this year with a recital showcasing her deepened artistic world to celebrate the 140th anniversary of Korea-France relations. This performance is themed "La voix naturelle (The Voice of Nature)." Beginning with the essence of French Baroque and Classical opera arias spanning from Campra, Rameau, and Grétry, the program presents diverse French music across centuries, featuring art songs by Sung-Eun Cho imbued with deep Korean lyricism, as well as "Les Chantefleurs" (Flower Songs) by Jean Wiéner, which wittily depicts nature and flora and fauna, and "Cinq fables de La Fontaine" (Five Fables of La Fontaine) by Régis Campo. Through soprano Eun-Kyoung Kim's voice, which has continued to serve as a cultural bridge between the two nations, this will be a meaningful time to share pure musical emotion resonating with nature and the historical significance of Korea-France cultural exchange.
