The overture, reinterpreted through piano ensemble, creates anticipation and tension before the operatic stage curtain rises, naturally drawing the audience into the musical narrative. The arias and operatic masterpieces that follow unfold the emotional texture of vocal music through the unique timbre of the piano and the ensemble's closely coordinated breathing. The delicate dialogue created by two pianos and four hands, along with the grand sound unfolded by eight hands, renders the drama of opera—spanning love, tragedy, joy, and tension—in a more three-dimensional manner.
