Astor Piazzolla's nuevo tango blends harmoniously with familiar music from films, offering a romantic autumn night that feels as if you're in an Argentine milonga, the city of tango. Experience the charm of tango created by the deep breath of the bandoneón and the violin, piano, and double bass, along with fascinating stories behind each piece. Sueño is a professional tango ensemble composed of piano, bandoneón, violin, and double bass, conveying the deep sensibility and diverse musical appeal unique to Argentine tango to audiences. Centered around nuevo tango, Sueño reinterprets various genres including classical music and film scores through its own distinctive style, and creates performances that are accessible and familiar even to audiences experiencing tango for the first time by incorporating musical commentary. Since its establishment in 2021, Sueño has presented over 60 performances at various venues including the Seoul Arts Center, Tongyeong International Music Festival Hall, Sejong Cultural Center, and Raum Art Center, consistently introducing the charm of tango through a wide repertoire and audience-friendly programming.
