TWO GUITARS: Park Gyu-hee × Park Joo-won [Busan]

[PERFORMANCE INTRODUCTION] A magical stage featuring two guitarists who have reached the pinnacle of their respective fields—Park Gyu-hee, Korea's representative classical guitarist, and Park Ju-won, the finest gypsy guitarist! Classical guitarist Park Gyu-hee has won a total of nine international competitions, including the Alhambra Competition, and made history as the first woman and first Asian winner at Belgium's Trophée Despriet International Guitar Competition. Gypsy guitarist Park Ju-won is known as "Korea's Paco de Lucía" and has left a distinctive mark in the music industry with his inspired technique and broad sensibility. He boasts an impressive track record, including back-to-back wins in the "Best Jazz & Crossover" category at the Korean Popular Music Awards and selection as the best guitarist by Jazz People Readers' Poll, a jazz specialist publication. The two artists concluded their first duo performance at LG Arts Center in 2021 with a sold-out show, and in response to enthusiastic audience demand, presented their second performance at Lotte Concert Hall in 2022. Since then, they have continuously met audiences across the country in cities including Gwangju, Jeonju, Ulsan, Gunsan, Jeju, Guri, and Incheon, receiving tremendous support. This performance features a diverse program including solo stages from each artist, duo stages where the two guitars blend beautifully, and repertoire performed with a full band.
