[ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE] After completing her US tour, Risa Taniguchi returns to UnderCity in Seongsu-dong on June 19th. Representing Japan's underground techno scene, Risa is an artist who embodies both the density of Tokyo club culture and the intense energy of the global techno scene. Her sound, where distortion, acid, and rhythm intersect, simultaneously creates mechanical texture and emotional depth. The Spinning Back [SL008] EP released this May in May carries a rough texture within a flow that crosses hypnotic atmosphere and restrained brutality, further revealing her distinctive sound.
