Visitor tips

The KIA Tigers are the most-decorated franchise in KBO history (12 Korean Series titles, including 2024) and Gwangju treats every home game accordingly. The city's lone subway line doesn't reach the stadium — most visitors arrive by city bus or walk ~12 min from U-Square (Gwangju's main intercity bus terminal). A row of street-food stands sells fried chicken, hotteok, and dried squid along the main entrance pre-game; bringing food in is allowed and common.
